Folliculitis can appear anywhere on the body that there are hair follicles.
So it can look different depending on whether it's on the scalp, the chin, the back, upper arms, chest or elsewhere!
It can appear as shaving rash, acne around the hairline, spots at the back of the neck, bumpy areas on the chin, rashes on the genital area, or scabs on the scalp.

- itching, burning sensations
- crusty sores
