- Rinse well with cold water and a soap-free wash
- Use a cold compress: ice cubes/ice packs or an unopened bag of frozen peas.
- Take an antihistamine tablet

- If it’s painful, take a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory such as Ibruprofen
